BREEAM New Construction, SBEM, EPC, Thermal Comfort, LZC Report

The new-build 7 storey HM Revenue & Customs office development, situated within Edinburgh’s Old Town, was designed to respectfully fit within its World Heritage location.

A substantial addition to the larger ‘New Waverley’ 7.5-acre masterplan site, the development comprised of two interlinking buildings, providing 200,000sq ft of prime Grade A office accommodation.

Achieving a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, the space balanced a high volume of glazing with buff sandstone and green roof terraces to create a uniquely contemporary landmark with views to Calton Hill.
